Choosing the Perfect Cooktop for Your Kitchen
What is a domino hob?
Unsurprisingly, domino hobs get their name from the fact they look a bit like dominos (not because you can line them up and push them over…we advise against this!).
Typically an oblong shape, domino hobs work in the same way as regular hobs, but they have two burners instead of four.
Do I need a domino hob?
If you’re short on space, a domino hob could be the answer. Their slimline design makes them perfect for compact spaces in kitchens, caravans and student accommodation. Or, for the Hestons and Nigellas among us, who find themselves juggling with too many pans and not enough burners, an additional domino hob could be just what you need.
Which domino hob is the one for me?
At SIA, we are here to support your inner chef (whether that chef is making star-worthy snacks or scrambled egg). The extensive range of SIA domino hobs is bound to have what you’re looking for. We are firm believers that limited space shouldn’t mean limited options.
If sleek and modern is your aesthetic, SIA definitely has you covered. For example, the 30cm Domino Electric Ceramic Hob will fit seamlessly into your space. Its smooth black surface is easy to clean and the soft touch controls are both simple and satisfying. If you’re worried about little fingers, it even has residual heat indicators and a child safety lock.
Perhaps you prefer gas cooking? SIA has a selection of gas domino hobs with different finishes to suit your space, such as the Black 2 Burner Gas on Glass Domino Hob & Cast Iron Stands.
Would silver fit better than black? Take a look at our stainless steel options like the 30cm Compact Domino Gas Hob in Stainless Steel with LPG Kit.
Or, if efficiency is key, try the Domino Electric Built-in Induction Hob. It has 9 power levels for precision heating and perfect results.
Whatever your style, space or budget, SIA will get you on the road to delicious food with our range of domino hobs (quite literally in the case of caravans).
